My Fashion Influences

I think the 80s best represents my style. You can see the 80s thought my cloths in many ways. You can see the 80s in my style when i wear leggings, bright colors, skinny jeans, and over sized sweaters, and you can see it when i tease my hair all big, like they did in the 80s. Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren were some designers that were big in the 80s and now.  xoxo corrine

Fashion Blog Reflection

This project went pretty well for me. It was fun working with my friends for the project. It made the project enjoyable, for a project. Ha. My group and I did a good job doing the fashion of the 80s and i feel like we got the main focus across. Some ways this project could be improved is if there was a outline on what exactly we had to do so we could of got to work faster. It also could have improved if  we were given more time to work on it. Overall the project was good! xoxo corrine

Meat Dress

Who other then Lady Gaga, herself, could pull off a meat dress for MTVs VMA?
No one, that's who. However Lady Gaga's meat dress did cause a lot of controversies. When on the Ellen
DeGeneres show, a few days after the VMAs, Ellen (who is a vegan and protects animal rights) Questioned Gaga about it. She asked her why? and Lady Gaga said "It's certainly no disrespect to anyone that's vegan or vegetarian". She said it was a way to stand up for her rights along with others. A direct Quote: "If we don't stand up for what we believe in, we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're gonna have as much rights as the meat on our bones." Ellen DeGeneres didn't quite buy this response.
There were some people who praised Lady Gaga dress like designer Frans Fernandez and Cher. Both of them Saying that the dress fitted Lady Gaga perfect and was amazing.
Lady Gaga sure knows how to get people talking about her and its always with her fashion. Which ranges incredibly. People will probably never forget her meat dress and I'm sure she will top it again next year. Lady Gaga is a trend setter, not a follower.I do however think this fashion, is a fashion no no and will disappear as quickly as it came.
